Rental requirements
Everything you need to know before you book, in one place. No fine print at pickup.
Age requirement
- Drivers must be 25 years or older to rent.
- A valid driver's license is verified online before pickup.
Security deposit
- A refundable security deposit is required on every booking.
- The amount depends on the vehicle, from $250 for sedans and compact SUVs to $750 for full-size SUVs.
- It's shown before you pay and released after the car is returned in the condition it left in.
Insurance
- A protection plan is included on every rental.
- Coverage is active once you've verified your license and e-signed the rental agreement — both take a couple of minutes on your phone.
- Renting for rideshare or delivery work? Contact us first; commercial use has different coverage rules.
Mileage policy
- Every rental includes 150 miles per day, pooled across your trip — a three-day rental includes 450 miles to use however you like.
- Miles beyond that are charged per mile at the end of the trip, at the rate shown when you book.
- Planning a long drive? Tell us when you reserve and we'll help you pick the right car and plan.
Payment
- Half of the rental is charged when you reserve; the balance is charged before pickup.
- Delivery, if you add it, is quoted at booking and included in the total.
- Every charge is itemized before you pay. No surprises at the car.
Before pickup
- Upload your license and e-sign the agreement from the link in your confirmation email.
- Bring the license you verified with — we check it at handoff.
- Return the car on time and in the condition you received it; we do a quick walk-around together at the end.
